Here's out new nephew Ian Hawk Kirkpatrick Lambert!!!
Stephen explains how our new nephew was named-
I want to tell you the story of how he was named. When he was born, we were leaning towards Jesse. However, when we met him we were convinced that that was not his name. That was on friday. We really worked on trying to decipher this problem, but also asked spirit, and little man for direction. In the meantime, Susan kept calling him "Pumpkin" because he's brown and tends to ball up in our arms. After a couple of days she asked me to find out the cherokee word for pumkin. In the meantime, we were still debating other alternate names we thought would be acceptable. Joshua,Jacob,Thor,Eric,Caleb,Jarret,Thomas,Hugh,Lloyd,Hobart and finally John. We both liked "John" but felt it was a bit too common. Getting back to pumkin, I found out the Cherokee word was i'-ya. Then we both looked at each other realising the significance of this finding...i'-ya was Ian. ""Ian" is the Scottish form of "John". Upon acknowledging his name, we were both so excitedthat I went outside to thank "Great Spirit". I looked up and in sky over my head were three "Hawks". The rest is history...Ian Hawk Kirkpatrick Lambert.
